We are ready for our biggest Balkan event this year- the Balkan Senior Championships! It is fully expected to witness great competition and hustle, as this is yet another chance for the athletes participating to achieve entry standards for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. This 74th edition of the Championships will take place on the 26th and 27th of June in Belgrade-Sederevo, Serbia and will also serve our hosts as a great opportunity to rehearse and gain more experience and practice for the upcoming World Athletics Indoor Championships in March, 2022. More than 450 athletes from 19 countries will put on display their readiness to prove that they are the best and we just know this will be one special sight to see. A contributing factor to this intriguing competition is the fact that it will take place on a special track, located inside the Smederevo Fortress, built in the 17th century. 781b155fdc
